Chris Joaquim has been legit on the mound posting a 1.89 ERA in 37 innings. The Gauchos are a force to be reckoned with in the NBL and NCS playoffs. For Ukiah, Joe Brazil has been lighting up hitting .449 for the Wildcats. They host Maria Carrillo Wednesday at 4pm.
Since the NCL II doesn’t have a league tournament, their season continues. Rincon Valley Christian hosts Sonoma Academy in a battle for second place. The Eagles sit atop of the D6 rankings. The Coyotes sit at a 9 seed in D5. If SA can win, this could propel them to a home game in the NCS playoffs. St. Vincent de Paul clinched a league Championship when they beat Rincon Valley on Friday 3-2. They’re a projected 3 seed in NCS D5.
